Words Fail Me

Sept | 2009

Words Fail Me is based on a personal nomadic journey that is still in process: a search for common language that has no political, social or cultural elements. The title of performance makes reference to Virginia Woolf's audio document A Eulogy of Words, which considers the historical analysis and fate of the English language. In it, she states: "words are full of echoes, memories and associations." This piece attempts to communicate through the absence of words and their associations.
